I’ve been working in Design Connections Doctoral School as a design researcher and a post-graduate student from the beginning of 2010. My background is in Industrial and Strategic Design (MA degree in 2007 / University of Art and Design, TaiK). My studies included minor studies in new media at Media Lab Helsinki.
My current research seeks to understand the tools and language related to the issues of sustainability and “design for sustainability” -process. The focus is on the different fields of expertise that exists in the Aalto University framework, such as business, engineering and architecture.
Research is executed to gather information on how the designers can benefit from deeper understanding about the different stakeholders’ different approaches towards sustainability and tools to measure it.
