try to answer what am I doing(or do I make it confusing)

It has been difficult to answer or explain my thesis.

In this stage, it’s good to rethink again and try not to let important thought fading away by the time.

social media is such a big topic, context-awareness had been talked more than 10years and talk about OtaSizzle can’t explain much of my thing neither.

make it closer to what I’m doing…  service design mobile social media

when internet goes to mobile device, we can retrieve information from virtual world and attach real objects(image, sound, video, text..) in it and share to more than one person. that is the typical characteristic of mobile social media.

In that sense,   if we image that besides physical appearance, there is digital sphere around “person” or “place”. If look at mobile social media in this way…there is much space for design to anticipate.

One of my starting point falls on the cross section of online and offline social networks. how digital service can provide alternative way of connecting people or sharing information? how location-aware technology can benefit and enable social networking? for instance, push function in approximate distance could trigger interaction and create warmness/welcoming feeling in everyday life?

My thesis

by studying people’s information needs(implicit and explicit) and social needs(emotion and action level) in everyday life, to find out the touch point in service design concept.

and how could digital information(from service provider) correlate to customer journey(user-experience) and meet user expectation?

(to be continue…)
